Nice Indian-inspired music by a French threesome: modified guitar (soudning a bit like a sitar), tablas and acoustic bass. These pieces are improvisations based on rythms and impro codes of Northern Indian music.
A very nice recording, which is mainly made of what seems to be a long improvisation. This is downtempo psychedelic with melodic repetitive guitars and sometimes a strange Velvet Underground feeling. The band became later the Waterfalls.
A band from Toulouse, noticeable for their acoustic guitar sound full of energy—and there's electric guitar too, as you can hear above. I'm afraid they split after this demo recordings.
Founded in 1977, this band evolved since in the deep underground of French psychedelic, giving just a few shows in the 80's. This record was issued as a CD-R and only briefly sold at science fiction conventions.

This second EP was recorded on 30th December 2000, just before the end of the Millenium. Somewhere between Kraut and acid rock, even using reverse tapes, this is indeed a very strange artyfact.
These guys from Bordeaux play melodic pop-sike in the English 60's mood. As they say, "it sounds like 1968 but it's definitly 2006 : enjoy these good old new songs!" Do I need to say I agree with 'em?
As its name doesn't suggest it, Traummaschine is a Spanish band, not a German one. But they're apparently fascinated by the experimental side of 70's Krautrock, even calling themselves "Krautrockers". This is gloomy music with an hypnotic feel.
A very mystical album featuring a wonderful mix of musical influences. A bit like African music played by Indian and Japanese musicians. Relaxing, mesmerizing and perfect for chill out.
Here is what Pedro Collares wrote about it :
The music of this album was recorded spontaneously. The may propose is to create a atmosphere of serenity to just simply relax and meditate with pleasure.

'Weaknes is my strength", says this mysterious band from Slovaquia. They could have said "Strangeness is my pride". This is experimental music, short instrumental pieces creating a disturbing feeling.
This second album of Chrysalide was written before Après la chute but recorded after it. I heard they were working on the third part of this trilogy. Let's hope we won't wait too long!
This is the first album of French guitar hero Derek. Spaced-out instrumental music with mostly guitar, but there's also some sitar adding to the floating Eastern feeling of these recordings.
